Rep 1:1 Coaching Prep

$4.99 · free with Pro

Drop in a rep's pipeline and activity and get a 30-minute 1:1 plan: the numbers that matter, three coaching points backed by data, deals to review and commitments to agree.

For sales managers who want 1:1s that change what reps do this week, not another status update.

Upload the rep's open deals from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Dynamics or a spreadsheet, add quota, activity and your notes. A built-in calculator works out the gap to quota, coverage, weighted pipeline and every deal that's gone quiet, slipped or has no next step, and checks last week's commitments against the data.

You get three coaching points with the numbers behind them and the question to ask, the deals to review together, a timed 30-minute agenda, commitments to read back, and a recap to send after. It coaches behavior, not personality, and only uses what's in your data. Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or any AI tool.

What the numbers say

  • The gap is $158,000 with 8.4 weeks left. That's $18,746 a week to close.
  • Coverage is under 1x. Even if every deal closing this period wins, Marcus lands $3,500 short ($158,000 - $154,500).
  • 4 of 8 deals closing this period have no next step. Together that's $48,000.
  • Next month's pipeline is thin. 1 meeting booked against a target of 4, and 0 new deals against 2. Calls fell from 44 to 31.
  • Two deals carry the quarter. Pioneer ($42,000) and Summit ($27,000) are $46,800 of the $85,100 weighted, and both have next steps booked.

Three coaching points

1. Every deal needs a dated next step

  • What I see: 4 of 8 this-period deals ($48,000) have no next step. All 4 have gone quiet 17-33 days.
  • Why it matters: that's 31% of the pipeline Marcus needs this quarter, drifting.
  • Ask: "Look at Granite, Redwood, Cedar Valley and Bayview. What's the next meeting on the calendar for each?"
  • Commitment to get: a dated next step in the CRM for all 4 by Wed, Nov 4.

2. Win the Pioneer pricing call (negotiation, which Marcus asked for)

  • What I see: Pioneer is $42,000, his biggest deal, in Proposal, closing Fri, Nov 20. Pricing review call is Wed, Nov 4.
  • Why it matters: it's $25,200 of his $85,100 weighted, 30% on one call.
  • Ask: "What do you think Pioneer pushes back on Wednesday, and what will you say?"
  • Commitment to get: walk-away terms agreed with me by Tue, Nov 3; we role-play it now.

3. Rebuild the top of the funnel

  • What I see: 0 new deals (target 2), 1 meeting booked (target 4), calls down 13 to 31.
  • Why it matters: weighted pipeline covers 54% of the gap. Without new deals, Q4 depends on everything going right, and January starts empty.
  • Ask: "What got in the way of calls last week, and when this week is your prospecting time blocked?"
  • Commitment to get: 4 meetings booked and 2 new deals by Fri, Nov 6, with two prospecting blocks on his calendar.
